What you need to know

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Ready-made orders will be shipped within 3-4 business days. Custom orders can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on materials and order volume. Contact me for an estimate.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

You will receive a tracking number from USPS once your package has shipped. Please keep that number handy and use it to check the status of your order. Unfortunately, once it has shipped, I have no control over arrival times.

Currently only shipping to the United States.

OUR RETURN POLICY

RETURNS OR REFUNDS DUE TO A CHANGE OF MIND ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with a photo of the item and packaging, and we can discuss your options.

Note: All products are completely hand-made with individual care, using natural materials. No two are alike. Slight variations in texture, finish, and color should be expected and treasured as a unique element. Because of this, a damaged product cannot be replaced with the same exact product.

WARRANTY AT DARK MOON JEWELRY

Every piece of jewelry you buy includes lifetime polishing. All you have to do is cover the shipping cost to and from my workshop.

Normal wear and tear can sometimes leave metal looking dull and with surface scratches. Polishing revives the shine and eliminates minor blemishes. (deep scratches, bends, dents, and broken bails are not considered normal wear and tear, and polishing will not fix these issues.)

If you believe your item has damage beyond normal wear and tear, it is best to send a picture before shipping the item to me. That way, we can discuss your options and determine repair fees.

If an item arrives to me damaged due to incorrect wear or neglect, it will not be eligible for free polishing.

Sterling silver can tarnish over time and in certain circumstances. It is recommended to read the jewelry care instructions to make sure you are providing the best care for your jewelry.

JEWELRY CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Each piece of handcrafted jewelry is made from sterling silver. Each jewelry design is meant to last a lifetime, but care should be taken to prevent damage and tarnish of your jewelry.

Avoid wearing your precious jewels to the gym, around any heavy equipment, or during any strenuous activity. Metal will bend, and stones will crack, so please be mindful of your activities while wearing your jewelry.
Swimming with your jewelry on is a no-no. Chlorine in pools can and will wreak havoc on your precious jewels, whether it's the stone or the metal. Harsh chemicals can react with porous stones such as turquoise, leading to discoloration and even brittleness. While we are on the subject of water, I wouldn’t recommend wearing any of your jewelry in the shower, as there are harsh chemicals in our water systems as well.
Beware of wearing body oils, lotions, moisturizers, or perfume in the area of your jewelry placement, as a reaction can occur between your skin and the metal, causing a temporary discoloration of your skin.
Pieces should be stored in individual, airtight bags to prevent oxidation. I provide a cleaning/polishing cloth with each purchase. Store your jewelry piece correctly when your jewelry is not being worn.
